Alzheimer’s Association Central Coast
Nearly 700,000 Californians have Alzheimer’s disease and more than a million Californians provide care for a loved one. The local chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association offers free education programs, support services, and care consultations.

Friendship Center Adult Day Services
Friendship Center’s campuses in Montecito and Goleta provide adult day services for seniors to socialize in a safe environment and provide a break for family caregivers. Brain fitness programs are available for individuals with mild memory loss. Friendship Center’s Family Services Manager can also provide individualized care consultations. Caregiver support groups are available with Alzheimer’s Association and Family Services Agency.
Medi-Cal Office
Medi-Cal is California’s state and federally funded medicaid program and provides health care services to California’s children and adults with limited income.

Veterans Affairs
Five percent of Santa Barbara County residents (more than 22,000 people) are veterans of U.S. Armed Forces, and more than half of veterans have reached retirement age.
